Blessing Wildlife Rescue is a mammals-only wildlife refuge serving injured and orphaned wild animals indigenous to South Texas under Texas Parks & Wildlife permit number #REH1196-541. Most commonly, we receive infant o'possums, raccoons, skunks, and fox squirrels which we raise until they can be turned back to the wild We occasionally get called in to assist with problem exotics, to evaluate and place them into appropriate environments.
We offer educational programs for schools and civic groups, and donations to assist in the expense of feeding and housing these creatures are always appreciated as we receive NO governmental or organizational assistance.

This young adult black bear came in during a hurricane evacuation when his "owners" became concerned that his enclosure wouldn't survive the storm. He was transferred to a reputable bear sanctuary in Colorado.
